Infrastructure support

Your server runs stably, securely, and under round-the-clock monitoring

Stable operation of a website or application begins with a professionally configured server. Often, developers configure servers hastily, leaving standard ports open, default passwords unchanged, and not optimizing PHP-FPM process limits or DBMS buffers. This leads to hangs during traffic spikes or, worse, hacks and database leaks.

We take full administration and technical support of your Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RHEL). We configure Nginx, PHP-FPM, Apache stack, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, and Docker containers following best performance and security practices.

Our team deploys round-the-clock monitoring with instant notifications in Telegram and handles responses to any failures 24/7/365, guaranteeing high project availability.

  • Professional Linux server configuration from scratch (security, limits, optimization)
  • Installation and fine-tuning of web servers (Nginx, Apache, PHP-FPM, Node.js)
  • Server and system resource availability monitoring (Prometheus / Grafana)
  • Automatic backup of databases and files to external S3 storage
  • Server protection against hacks, brute force (Fail2Ban, Firewall) and basic DDoS attacks

Guaranteed server Uptime under our monthly maintenance

Maximum reaction time of the duty engineer to critical incidents (SLA)

24/7

Continuous collection of availability, disk, memory, and CPU load metrics

Data loss avoided due to automated backups with regular restore testing

We prevent failures in advance

We do not wait for your site to go down. Our monitoring will send an alert to the engineer on duty as soon as free disk space drops below 15% or RAM is filled with PHP-FPM processes, allowing the problem to be solved before users notice it.

Our approach

Server administration standards

We create a secure, high-performing, and fully automated environment for websites.

Protection and Firewall

We close all unused ports on the server using Firewall (UFW/iptables). We disable root user password login — access is only possible via SSH keys.

Fail2Ban automatically blocks IP addresses of bots trying to brute-force server passwords or scan for vulnerabilities.

Professional software tuning

Standard web server configurations are designed for low loads. We tune Linux kernel parameters, optimize PHP-FPM pools (dynamic process management), and cache static assets.

This reduces the load on the CPU and disk, allowing the server to process 3–5 times more requests.

Backup Testing

A backup is considered reliable only when data has been successfully restored from it. We do not just write backup scripts to S3. We set up automated archive restoration tests.

A special script once a month deploys a backup in an isolated container, verifying the integrity of database tables.

Stages

How server configuration is performed

A sequential process of audit, basic setup, protection, and connection to a round-the-clock monitoring system.

01

Inventory and Audit

We study the current server state: open ports, installed software, log errors, open file limits, disk subsystem parameters.

02

OS Security Setup

We remove unused packages. Configure the firewall (UFW), disable password access via SSH, transfer the service to a non-standard port, and install Fail2Ban.

03

Web stack and DB tuning

We optimize Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MySQL/PostgreSQL database configurations for your server's RAM volume. We set open descriptor limits.

04

S3 Backup Integration

We write automated backup scripts. We set up daily database dumps, archive compression, and transfer to an independent S3 object storage.

05

Prometheus monitoring connection

We deploy metric collectors on the server. We configure Grafana dashboards for visualizing load graphs and Alertmanager for sending alerts to Telegram.

06

Regular maintenance and SLA

We monitor core and security system updates. As part of SLA, we are on call around the clock to quickly respond to any hardware or software failures.

Our tools

System administration stack

We use modern infrastructure management tools for fast server control.

Ubuntu / Debian / CentOS

Main server Linux distributions. They provide stable, secure, and predictable application operation with a long period of official support (LTS).

Nginx, OpenLiteSpeed, Apache

Web servers and proxy servers. Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed ensure maximum speed of static file delivery, caching, and proxying requests to the backend.

Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager

Comprehensive monitoring system. Prometheus collects metrics, Grafana builds analytical dashboards, and Alertmanager instantly sends notifications about critical errors to engineers.

FAQ

FAQ about server administration

Don't know which plan to choose and how many servers your project requires? Leave a request — we will analyze current resources and select the optimal service format.

  • What happens if the server goes down at night or on a holiday?

When subscribing to a monthly support plan or SLA Enterprise, our automated monitoring system polls your server every 15 seconds. If the server stops responding, the system instantly sends an alert to a private support channel and makes an automated phone call to the engineer on duty. The engineer starts resolving the issue within 15–30 minutes, regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
  • Do you help with selecting a provider and purchasing servers?

Yes, of course. We select server configurations (number of CPU cores, RAM size, SSD/NVMe drive types) based on the expected load of your project. We help register a personal account with the chosen cloud provider (Selectel, Yandex Cloud, Hetzner, DigitalOcean), link payment details, and handle all interactions with hosting tech support.
  • How do you guarantee the security of server access?

We completely disable login via traditional passwords, as they are easy to intercept or brute-force. Server access is only possible via encrypted SSH keys. Our engineers' keys are protected by complex passphrases. We also limit user permissions, close unnecessary ports with a UFW firewall, and install Fail2Ban for automatic blocking of suspicious IP addresses.
  • How often is backup operability tested?

Having backups in itself does not guarantee security, as archives can be created corrupt or get damaged during transfer. We set up automated regular recovery checks. Once a month, our script automatically creates a new virtual server in the cloud, deploys the latest backup from S3 storage there, checks the database structure integrity, and makes a test request to the site. If the recovery is successful, the engineer receives a report "Backup is valid".
